Users are able to connect with friends, family and other people they know or befriend on Facebook. They are able to share photos, videos, thoughts and ideas in real time while sharing photos and videos, send messages and get updates.

An example of how this tool can be used to assist in Literacy education;

A group page can be created by the educator so that learners can help each other through their literacy difficulties while sharing educational resources. Additionally, the educator can use multiple media to communicate with learners to share useful academic resources, send textual, audio and video messages.
